These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Cosmos Tutorial platform, including the admin portal (web) and the parent mobile application (Android/iOS). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you are using the platform on behalf of an educational institute (“Institute”), you represent that you have authority to bind the Institute to these Terms.
Cosmos Tutorial provides a SaaS platform for tutoring institutes to manage students, batches, attendance, marks, fees, homework, and parent communication. The platform includes:

All student, parent, and academic data entered into the platform belongs to the Institute. Cosmos Tutorial acts as a data processor on your behalf. We do not claim ownership of your data. Upon termination of your subscription, you may request a full export of your data within 30 days.
The Cosmos Tutorial platform, including its design, code, branding, and features, is the intellectual property of Cosmos Tutorial. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of our platform or brand. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works based on our platform.
We strive to maintain 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for losses arising from downtime beyond our control (including third-party infrastructure failures such as Supabase or Vercel outages).
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Cosmos Tutorial shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability in any matter shall not exceed the subscription fee paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.
Either party may terminate the subscription with 30 days written notice. We may terminate immediately for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your access to the platform will be revoked and your data will be retained for 30 days before deletion.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. We encourage resolution of disputes through mutual discussion before pursuing legal action.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be notified via email to institute administrators. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
