These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Cosmos Tutorial ("we", "our", or "us"), a SaaS coaching management platform comprising a web-based admin portal and a mobile parent application. By accessing or using Cosmos Tutorial — whether as an institute administrator, teacher, or parent — you agree to these Terms.
If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of an educational institute, you represent that you have the authority to bind that institute.
Institutes must register an account with a valid email address and provide accurate information about their organisation. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Administrator accounts are created by Cosmos Tutorial on institute sign-up. Teacher accounts are created by Administrators. Parent accounts are provisioned by Administrators and linked to enrolled students.
You must notify us immediately at support@cosmostutorial.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
You may use the Platform solely for its intended purpose: managing coaching institute operations including attendance tracking, marks entry, fee collection, homework management, parent communication, and report generation.
You agree not to:
Institutes own their data. All Student Data and institute-specific content you enter into the Platform remains yours. We act as a data processor on your behalf and do not claim ownership of your data.
Institutes are responsible for:
Our data handling practices are described in detail in the Privacy Policy.
Access to the Platform is provided on a subscription basis. Pricing is as displayed on our website at the time of sign-up. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as agreed at the time of purchase.
You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at support@cosmostutorial.com. Upon cancellation:
For annual subscriptions cancelled within 7 days of initial purchase, a prorated refund may be considered at our discretion. Contact us to discuss.
We aim to maintain high availability of the Platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Platform may be temporarily unavailable due to:
We do not offer a formal Service Level Agreement (SLA) at this time. Institutes requiring guaranteed uptime commitments should contact us to discuss enterprise arrangements.
The Platform uses Google Gemini AI to automatically generate weekly performance summaries for students. These summaries are produced from academic data (attendance counts, test scores, and topic performance) and are intended as informational aids for parents and teachers.
We are not liable for decisions made on the basis of AI-generated content. If your institute does not wish to use AI-generated reports, contact us at support@cosmostutorial.com to disable this feature.
All software, design, and content comprising the Platform (excluding Institute Data) is owned by or licensed to Cosmos Tutorial and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Platform solely for your institute's internal operations during an active subscription.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on the Platform or any part of it without our express written consent.
The Platform integrates with third-party services including Supabase (database), Expo (push notifications), Google Gemini AI (report generation), Interakt/Meta (WhatsApp), Vercel (hosting), and Sentry (error monitoring). Your use of the Platform is subject to these providers' terms where applicable.
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services. Changes to third-party services may affect Platform features; we will endeavour to communicate significant impacts in advance.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cosmos Tutorial shall not be liable for:
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Platform's fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of data, or uninterrupted availability.
We do not warrant that the Platform will be free of errors or security vulnerabilities, though we take reasonable precautions to minimise such risks.
Either party may terminate these Terms by providing written notice. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if:
Upon termination, your access to the Platform will cease. Your data will be retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted per the schedule in our Privacy Policy.
We will not be in breach of these Terms if we are unable to perform our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, civil unrest, cyberattacks on our infrastructure providers, government actions, or widespread internet outages. We will notify you promptly and resume performance as soon as reasonably possible.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will notify institute administrators via email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance.
If you do not agree to updated Terms, you may cancel your subscription before the effective date.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with Indian arbitration law, seated in Hyderabad, Telangana.
